Greeting and salutations! My name is Mike Needham and I want to welcome you to my blog. I realized I had a lot of images that I’ve shot over the years and people think my family and I travel quite a bit.  I’ve decided to start this blog as a way to showcase some of my photos and document where we’ve been and what we’ve done.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

My camera is an Olympus E-500 that I bought on a lark because I was going on an African safari in a few days and decided I needed a new camera.  I ended up with the Olympus because firstly, it used the same memory card as my point and shoot and secondly because the price was right at Costco.  Someone had received it as a Christmas gift and decided to return it to Costco.  This has been a great camera for the last few years and even though I came to it through dumb luck, I think I may have purchased the same camera if I had done some research as well.
