This year, for our vacation, I took my family back to the Midwest to see where I grew up and meet some relatives that they had never met. We had a great time driving around Lake Michigan, thru Wisconsin and exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, including Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore which I’ll post in the future. We also explored Mackinaw Island the drove thru the small town I consider my hometown. We were in a pinch for time and ended up having to change rooms three times because the key wouldn’t open the door. I thought that by the time we got down to the beach, I had missed the sunset. Luckily, my wife insisted that we walk down and I take my camera. I’m so glad that I took her advice, these are the pictures I’m most proud of from our trip down my memory lane.

These shots are from St Joseph Lighthouses and Pier in St Joseph, Michigan.
