This was our trip to Banff in Alberta Canada.  These pictures were all taken around Lake Louise, a popular destination that we explored one day.  We looked around at The Fairmont Chateau which is a very nice Chateau right on the lake.  It’s a good sized lake with turquoise water from glacier run off.

We decided to hike up to Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House and made it only about halfway (we had a 7 year old along so we were lucky to make it that far). From that viewpoint, you could look down on the Chateau and see the beauty of the lake. We heard great things about the Tea House and it’s on our list to return and complete.
