Payette lake in McCall, Idaho is an easy and beautiful get away from Boise.  This year my son was attending a science camp in nearby Ponderosa State Park and I was a parent volunteer.  I took my camera with me and took a few shots before camp started.  It was near the peak of the fall colors so after he came home (and spent the following weekend at Boy Scout camp) my wife and I went back up and spent the weekend enjoying the colors and had the chance to snap some more pictures.
