Spent Memorial Day weekend 2018 visiting Lagoon Amusement park in UT and then spending a couple of days in Almo, ID visiting City of Rocks National Reserve and Castle Rock State Park. My wife’s family settled the area and many are buried in the local cemetery. City of Rocks was a way point along the California Trail and you can still see signatures from pioneers on the rocks. Here are some shots from both parks.
