City of Rocks Photo Safari
City of Rock-Photo Safari-Fall 2018 City of Rocks holds a number of different photo safaris throughout the year. I was lucky enough to get into the fall safari. The staff gives you technical training on your camera, how to get off the default settings and answers questions while you’re shooting.
St Joseph Lighthouses and Pier
This year, for our vacation, I took my family back to the Midwest to see where I grew up and meet some relatives that they had never met. We had a great time driving around Lake Michigan, thru Wisconsin and exploring the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, including Pictured Rocks National
Oregon Coast
For Spring break this year, we decided to pack up the car and head to the Oregon Coast and then onto Bend, OR. On our way home to Idaho we also stopped at John Day Painted Hills.

This was our trip to Banff in Alberta Canada. These pictures were all taken around Lake Louise, a popular destination that we explored one day. We looked around at The Fairmont Chateau which is a very nice Chateau right on the lake. It’s a good sized lake with turquoise water from glacier run
Diamond Lake Oregon
This was a trip that I took with my wife to Crater Lake Oregon. You can’t camp at Crater Lake but you can camp nearby at Diamond Lake. We went on this trip at the end of June 2013. Mosquitoes were thick as could be but the sunsets were beautiful.
African Safari-Arusha
